食を通じて〇〇を考える、12月のロングテーブル

As a joint initiative between the General Incorporated Association Long Table Japan and MIDORI.so,
a monthly event series titled "Thinking About 〇〇 Through Food" is held on the fourth Thursday of each month.
This program began as a pilot in December 2025.

For the memorable Vol.1, we hosted:
🧑‍🍳 A Gathering to Savor Original Spices 👩‍🍳 with QH’s Minami Yoshii.

The event kicked off with Minami Yoshii introducing the ingredients.
She then explained the characteristics and uses of several different spices.
Participants used their five senses to select the spice that best suited them at the moment,
and seasoned globally-inspired obanzai dishes prepared by QH themselves.

After a toast and saying itadakimasu, guests formed groups of four,
shared large plates, and enjoyed the meal while engaging in conversation.
To conclude, everyone wrapped their dishes in a galette and shared a communal table experience.

Attendees came from a wide range of backgrounds—including culinary experts, veterinarians, food industry professionals, writers, and developers—
creating an opportunity for connection centered around food.

The Long Table will continue to open once a month,
starting from a small dining table, little by little.
