MIDORI.so Newsletter:
MIDORI.so is a co-working community designed for freelancers, small businesses, and employees of larger organizations. We are dedicated to fostering innovation and creating new value for the future. Our goal is not only to provide a workspace where people enjoy working but also to cultivate an environment that encourages connection, collaboration, and meaningful opportunities.

Pocket Garden
Spirit Level proudly presents Pocket Garden - an exhibition of new & existing works by Franco-Japanese artist Mina Enowaki. Our paths first crossed due to a mutual respect for each other’s work, and correspondence over several years has eventually led to collaborating on this exhibition - Mina’s first outside of Europe. The show coincides with the conclusion of Mina’s residency at Studio Mukaiyama in Okayama prefecture. And will bring together a combination of pieces created in both Europe & Japan.

Roots that Permeate
MIDORI.so Gallery is proud to present Root That Permeate, a solo exhibition by SHOKEI. Captivated by the romance of floral patterns since childhood, SHOKEI’s practice began with wearing garments sewn by her mother and grandmother, drawing flowers, and arranging blooms. Over time, this early intimacy evolved into a sustained exploration of floral imagery through print, layering, and transparency. Raised in a home filled with diverse floral motifs including Japanese, Western, traditional Cantonese, kitsch, and classic influences, SHOKEI grew up within a layered visual environment that quietly shaped her sense of identity. As a child, these patterns sometimes felt unfamiliar and difficult to place. Gradually, however, they became deeply personal. It was not a single origin but a coexistence of influences that formed her sense of self.

MUSIC Focus/Soft
Concentration is when our awareness is directed toward a single point. If we assume that, we might be inclined to think of concentration as something we can create ourselves. But what if, in reality, it's not about us heading toward it, but rather about being invited from the other side—being allowed to enter that space? While we are drawn in, we aren't simply "spending time concentrating." Instead, it's as if we are fully immersed, consciousness and all, within that very moment. Seamless concentration is like a flowing river, and its depth can resemble waves that ebb and return. Gently, quietly, toward somewhere. Soft sounds beckon us to a time and place that lies beyond the invitation— Imagine it that way. This playlist is meant to be listened to when you really need to concentrate. I'm sure it will take you somewhere.

MUSIC Like a Jazz
What is Jazz? We all know jazz — but what is it, really? Does it make you want to dance? Does it move your emotions? Does it make you feel romantic? Maybe none of us truly knows what jazz is. So we made our own jazz playlist. The jazz might already be inside you. [Spotify]
