MIDORI.so Nakameguro

A share office reborn through DIY from an ivy-covered ruin—
where “culture rises.”

Guided by the philosophy of Life as Work,we provide integrated production from spatial design and furniture curation to operational planning.

Set within walking distance of Shibuya and Nakameguro, embracing the energy of the city,
we cultivate a creatively chaotic space where multinational creators gather.

No desks.

Deconstructing “work” to create a space specialized for “meeting.”

Located between Aoyama-itchome and Nogizaka, this hub vertically integrates a café, listening bar, lounge, and rooftop garden.
A place where work and dialogue intersect.

With acoustic design by Komatsu Acoustic Laboratory,
even the “temperature” of the space is designed.

At night, it is re-edited into a members-only bar,
transforming by time of day into a flexible community hub.

A fully integrated production covering spatial planning, concept design, furniture curation, and operational design.

MIDORI.so Ikejiri

Carrying on the legacy of the former school revitalization project “IID Setagaya Monozukuri School,”
this working hub was designed within HOME/WORK VILLAGE.

Drawing on the memory of a “place of learning,”
the space has been reimagined as an intersection of community and work.

Through circulation design connecting the school building, library, and schoolyard,
a community-oriented workspace has been realized—one where work and daily life are not divided.

WE WORK HERE BOOK

Editorial & Publishing

An editorial practice that continually questions, “What does it mean to work?”

From publishing our in-house media “We work here” to producing tabloids and publishing books, we provide end-to-end production.

We integrate interview design, reporting, editing, design, and publishing, connecting questions and practices born within spaces to society as content.

We serve an editorial function that “documents and translates” spaces, communities, and ideas.

Food & Cultural Design

Treat food not as consumption, but as culture.

Media operators, food producers, researchers, and editors collaborate to build food programs integrated with spatial design.

From workshops and regionally connected food tourism to in-office communal dining design, product development, and content creation—producing across disciplines.

Rather than ending experiences as one-off events, we implement a “food ecosystem” grounded in philosophy and storytelling.

Sound Environment Design

Space is completed by sound.

We integrate everything from equipment design to music production, designing sound environments unique to each space.

In collaboration with Komatsu Acoustic Laboratory, we introduce vacuum tube amplifiers, design speakers tailored to specific uses,
produce original sound sources with ambient artists, and provide integrated production including DJs and playlist curation.

Bridging hardware and music,
we create an atmosphere that makes people want to stay.
