COLUMN #9 relax

Clouds slowly dissolve,
Sensing a warm reach.
The while, I sit in content
Gazing towards the distance,
Tree shadows casting overlong,
Branches arching over
And hazy silhouettes within.
Such common composition feeds
rare epiphanies.
Reminiscing a silent play or film.
A spice for inspiration.
Softly and warmly swaddling me
back in time.
A smooth joyful descent.
Vague yet memorable milestone of its prime.
The gaze carried on.
Subjects sauntered out of frame,
Yet the play continues in fragments.
Like the quarrel between the wind and trees.
But gently begins an orchestral interlude
And I find myself above the sky
As I reclaim my role.
I exist.
