MIDORI.so Bakuroyokoyama Gallery presents two exhibitions as part of the Area Pickup Partnerships programme of T3 PHOTO FESTIVAL TOKYO. The first is a solo exhibition by photographer and artist Yuma Nishimura.

Materialized Fiction begins with the question: “Why can’t humans eat electricity?” From this simple idea, Nishimura explores a series of “what ifs,” giving fictional worlds physical form through photographs printed on tanned leather. These works become prototypes of possible worlds, questioning the boundaries between fiction and reality.
