This playlist was created for an actual event called “The Career Talk: It’s Okay Whether You Get a Job or Not.”

There wasn’t enough budget for a DJ, but we still wanted to be particular about the music. It’s a party, but not the kind where everyone’s hyped up and shouting — we needed a selection that would gently warm up the atmosphere while still allowing guests to hear each other speak.
