Pocket Garden

Spirit Level proudly presents Pocket Garden - an exhibition of new & existing works by Franco-Japanese artist Mina Enowaki.

Our paths first crossed due to a mutual respect for each other’s work, and correspondence over several years has eventually led to collaborating on this exhibition - Mina’s first outside of Europe.

The show coincides with the conclusion of Mina’s residency at Studio Mukaiyama in Okayama prefecture. And will bring together a combination of pieces created in both Europe & Japan.

Mina Enowaki’s work approaches nature not as a passive background, but as a field of forces and presences, where even the smallest fragments carry a sense of vitality and movement.

This exhibition proposes the idea of an itinerant landscape, without stable ground or fixed territory, one that recomposes itself through different media and context. It unfolds as a system of relationships, where forms remain in transit, suggesting presence, passage, and transformation.
