Concentration is when our awareness is directed toward a single point. If we assume that, we might be inclined to think of concentration as something we can create ourselves. But what if, in reality, it's not about us heading toward it, but rather about being invited from the other side—being allowed to enter that space? While we are drawn in, we aren't simply "spending time concentrating." Instead, it's as if we are fully immersed, consciousness and all, within that very moment. Seamless concentration is like a flowing river, and its depth can resemble waves that ebb and return. Gently, quietly, toward somewhere.
