  • 1-7-12 2F/3F, Minamiaoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo
  • 東京都港区南青山1-7-12

Located between Aoyama-itchome and Nogizaka, this MIDORI.so office is a unique workspace with no fixed desks, reimagining “working” by focusing on “meeting.” On the first floor, you’ll find BROOKS, a café-restaurant by Oizumi Kojo. The second floor features a flexible hot-desking workspace designed with a listening lounge with acoustics crafted by Komatsu Sound Lab. From the rooftop garden, you can enjoy views of the greenery in Minato City’s Aoba Park. In the evenings, the space transforms into a members-only bar, creating opportunities for new connections.

MIDORI.so AOYAMA is a new kind of workspace designed specifically for connection.

The pandemic changed the way we work and reshaped the role of the office.
Tasks can be done anywhere, but it is through gathering, exchanging ideas,
and even challenging one another that real collaboration happens.

In the 1950s, young manga artists at Tokiwa-so didn’t just work alone in their studios.
They sat together in the communal space, sharing drinks and dreams,
discussing the future of manga, and sparking heated debates.

In 17th-century France, amidst the rigid, male-dominated royal court,
women—both aristocrats and courtesans—hosted salons
where intellectuals from all walks of life gathered.
These gatherings led to revolutionary ideas that changed the course of history.

From So to Salon—
MIDORI.so AOYAMA is the modern salon of today.
A space where curious people come together
to meet, exchange, and connect.
