Our founder, Teruo Kurosaki, who had been undergoing medical treatment for some time, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, at the age of 76. MODORI.so IKEJIRI MIDORI.so founder Teruo Kurosaki has led the transformation of Japan’s first school-redevelopment project, the “IID Setagaya Monozukuri School,” into a new multi-purpose facility called “HOME/WORK VILLAGE.” Centered around the theme of “facing social issues as homework for our generation, rather than passing them on to the next,” MIDORI.so Ikejiri is located within a space that utilizes former school facilities such as a library and schoolyard.
